Meet Our Director

Bowral Physiotherapy has been providing general and sports physiotherapy in the Southern Highlands since 1999.

Sue Walker - Physiotherapist and Director

Sue graduated as a physiotherapist in the UK in 1980 and gained valuable early experience working with the National Health Service (NHS). After moving to Australia in 1984, she worked across both public and private sectors while completing a Graduate Diploma in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Sydney.

Sue spent over a decade at Lewisham Sports Medicine Clinic in Sydney, where she progressed to the role of Director of Physiotherapy. In 1999, she and her family relocated to the Southern Highlands. Since then, she has worked at Southern Highlands Private Hospital and, in 2008, became Director of Bowral Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries Centre.

Sue has a strong clinical interest in back, neck, shoulder, knee and hip pain, as well as sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She uses a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, and home-based exercise programs to support long-term recovery and mobility.

When she’s not at work, Sue loves getting out for a bushwalk, pottering in the garden, going to Pilates, and spending time with her family.
